Chantal Poiret
Chantal Poiret is a career diplomat. She has been the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Norway and Latvia. Ms Poiret has also spent ten years in multilateral diplomacy, including three at the UN in New York and three as Deputy Director of the United Nations and International Organisations. She was Assistant Director for South Asia and worked on Russia and Eastern Europe. She was posted in Germany and Romania.
She has also held several positions as a thematic ambassador, such as the first ambassador responsible for the international coordination of the fight against maritime piracy and ambassador for the French regions with the aim of attracting foreign investment and providing support for the development of exports.
She joined the ADIT and Entreprise & Diplomatie group in 2014, then ESL Rivington in 2020.
